Miss Emmanual Mettles, India, is its Founder President. Mr. Balachandran Nair, India, is Vice President and Chief Administrator.

Commencing from 1st January 2022 the platform is conducting a mammoth literature promotion programme titled THE HAVEN RENDEZVOUS. It is a year-long school level new poets introduction festival. Mr. Balachandran Nair is the Inventor and Pilot of this year-long programme. He contacted fellow poets all over the world and requested them to write simple English poems exclusively for school children whose first language is not English. He visited Government-run schools after schools in remote areas of his home State, Kerala, India and impressed upon the Principals and Teachers about the importance of testing the ability of their students to ably handle the language(s) they are taught for so many years. He suggested that he will supply simple poems to the students who can take it to home, read it and recite it at leisure time. He further wanted them to write a small poem of theirs(students’) own in any language of their choice and to send the recorded video to him. Many Head Masters of schools turned him away telling that they are already overburdened with hectic syllabus schedules. Few schools even blatantly rejected his proposal telling that they do not have students capable of writing poems in any language!
However Mr. Balachandran Nair could find very supportive teachers in certain schools who understands their responsibility as a language teacher. He forwarded the poems he collected from poets all over the world, to the teachers who in turn handed over it to the brilliant potential students in their classes. The students recited the guide poems, video recorded it in leisure time, wrote a poem of their own in language of their choice, video recorded the recitation of their own poems too and sent it back to the teacher. The teacher subsequently forwarded the video(s) to Mr. Balachandran Nair who properly edited the videos and broadcasted it everyday morning at exact 7 Indian Standard Time.

The programme commenced on 1st January 2022 and as on 30.11.2022, in last 334 continuous days of the current year 358 students from 17 schools have been introduced to the world arena of literature as NEW POETS!
Poems supplied by 236 poets the world over were recited so far. The programme will continue throughout the year 2022 and a minimum of 400 new poets are expected to rise, brighten up our future by the end of the year.

These poets are immensely pleased and thrilled as if their poems were printed in text books of a far away land and a student is reciting it in front of them! They are sending comments and messages and few of them have directly talked to the teachers and students concerned. The parents of these new found immensely talented budding poets are in happy tears seeing their children acknowledged and applauded by world famous writers. The Teachers are proud to admit that they have, though lately, done something worthy and are proud of their students.

The HaVen International has constituted a three-member Jury to find out the best student performer every month and they are presented cash rewards. In addition, all the participant students and their mentor/teacher are supplied Participation Certificates in a function held in schools every month. In addition, the platform is compiling the poems recited by new poets, making it poetry anthologies and supplying it to students and school libraries free of cost.

All these are done without collecting any fees or contributions from school or students involved. The expenses are met from within the pockets of Mr. Balachandran Nair, who is an Indian Military veteran and with the help of few well wishers in the platform.

The programme HaVen Rendezvous Year Long School Level Poets Introduction Festival-22 has become a world record. Here, a lovely poem of a living poet is becoming a Lively Poet overnight and such a magic is happening for a first time ever in history of world literature! The HaVen is conducting a seminar in Mid-January 2023 in Kerala, India to accept the World Record Certificate and to honour the new poets and all others involved in this gigantic literary festival happening like this for a first time ever.

The following student poets were adjurned the Best in last 11 months:-

January……Aliya Nizar
February…..Sangeerthana S
March………Pranav V Nair
April…………Aiswarya J.R.
May………….Sreebala V.
